From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman Season 2 Releases Main Visual and New PV, Premieres July 8

“From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman” Season 2 is scheduled to premiere on July 8, 2026. A third promotional video and the main visual have been released.

The opening theme song, titled “Kurenai no Ha,” is performed by Unicorn.

Additionally, new characters were revealed in the PV, such as Hanoi Cressa, leader of the Verdeapis mercenary group; Kuriu Raiberg, a swordsman who wields two swords; Prim, a sorceress; White Maiden, a freelance mercenary who works independently; and Maurice Pashushka, the Pope of the Sphene religion. The main visual features a total of 13 characters, including Beryl, the Royal Knights, the Magic Corps, and the new characters. Stay tuned for more information on the character voice actors.

From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman tells the story of Beryl, a sword instructor from a small town who becomes a special instructor for the Knights in the capital, where he meets his former student and new enemies. In this second season, we’ll see Beryl, who is starting to get used to life in the capital, face new battles.***
